2019 blue vinyl re-edition of Bristol Archive's crucial 2xLP comp of S&M productions mostly self-released on their Three Stripe label during their first, late '80s purple patch. Signature almost-hits like 'Anyone', 'Different Chapter' and 'Walk On By' have only grown in stature over the past 30-odd years, but it's the inclusion of tuff, history-rewiring dubplate obscurities like 'The Dark, Dark House' and moody, low-slung electro-dubber 'Brain Scan' which make The Three Stripe Collection such a vital, visceral document not only of Rob and Ray's studio nous but of the wider pre-millennial UK underground's seemingly limitless creative potential. Now can someone give us a similarly comprehensive round-up of the post-1990, !K7 years?! An embarrassment of riches to pick through there. Thanks!
