Talking Smack

Eight classic, Legowelt-produced ”Hague smack trax”, reissued as a white label with new insert, and sounding punchier than ever - not hard, really, as the 2003 original may as well have been pressed on Weetabix. Long before it just got silly, Danny Wolfers’ playfulness and fondness for B-movie back-story manifested in pretty funny and thrilling ways, and felt kinda insurrectionary with it: none more so than with the glue-sniffing, flickknife-flashing, granny-mugging grindhouse techno schtick of Polarius… Death Wish in the rave. But even that aside, it’s easily one of the strongest entries in the mighty Bunker catalogue, and hands-down Wolfers’ most slamming, acidic, undeniable dancefloor smash-and-grab. Essential!
