Finally back in stock! Machine-gun indie-pop/teenbeat - breezy, insouciant, twee-as-fuck but monomaniacal and speed-crazed with it - yeah it's the unstoppable new 7” from Happiest Place (the label that brought us JJ Ulius and Amateur Hour), and the antidote to all the ugliness and overwroughtness and pretentiousness that blights you! Both sides are killer, the cute/crazed surf-synth zinger ‘Shampoo Nightclubbing’ instrumental only just edged by VU-worshipping ripper ‘Annie Hall’. If indie-discos were still a thing (and probably they still are in Gothenburg) these tunes would be turning their lank-haired dancefloors to rubble. You listen to this shit and you quite seriously think - what is the point of any other music??? See also the smoking Levander Dod LP that just arrived from Happiest Place too.
