All Watched Over By Machines Of Loving Grace

Finally got some more copies in of this remarkably strong 2xLP comp of contemporary EBM, punk-techno and sewer electronics, so thought we'd give it a proper flagging up this time. Delivery, Templeyard Studios and Buttechno are the most recognisable names on the tracklist, and they certainly come correct, but we're particularly partial to Wosto's acid-flecked leather-bar slammer 'Race Days' and IXVLF's terminator beatdown number 'Personal Divisions'. Throughout, the strike-rate is remarkably high and the aesthetic coherent: it's like everyone involved sat in the dark doing nothing but watching Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer and listening to Robert Turman's The Way Down for four days straight, then fired up their synths. 180g vinyl, don't miss this one.
